There’s always that space between the holidays and spring time where everyone is going stir crazy and ideas are lacking.
These suncatchers are always a favorite in my house to brighten up the house (and our moods) and spread some love to family and friends. And what’s even better – they are super easy!

Materials:
- Printable Suncatcher Templates
- Laminating sheets or contact paper
- Tissue paper squares (or hearts)
First, I print the templates and cut them out as they can be tedious and difficult for little fingers. Then, I lay them black-side down on laminating sheets. You can also use contact paper, though I haven’t tried it.
My son puts these cute tissue paper hearts I found at Michaels last year inside the template and then we close it up and send it through the laminator, which may just be his favorite part.
I cut them out again and we hang some in the windows, deliver some to friends & family and even mailed one to Florida!
I love the idea of spreading some joy to others with a simple craft, whether that be sending them to family, nursing homes, or hospitals…everyone could use a little extra love right now.
